Term and CII Special Offer: Conversion eligibility
When we launched the Term and CII Special Offer in Sun eApp on October 6, we indicated that Clients who convert their policies will lose the discount on their Critical Illness Insurance (CII) policy.
We’re pleased to announce:
- If an Evolve Term policy in the bundle is partially or fully converted, the discount on the Sun CII policy will remain.
- If a T10 Sun CII policy in the bundle is partially converted, the discount will remain on the portion of the T10 Sun CII policy that was not converted.
Note: If a Sun CII policy in the bundle is fully converted, the discount will end on the date the new policy takes effect. This is because the discount only applies to the original policy that was sold as part of the bundle.
Impact for Clients
Clients who keep their term policy in force to the end of the initial term duration will keep the discount on their CII policy, even if they choose not to renew.
If any policies within the bundle end due to policy lapse, cancellation, or replacement, the premium discount will end on the date the earliest policy ends.
Clients’ policies will reflect these conversion rules.
