To support Sun Life’s commitment of helping Canadians living with diabetes achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives, we’re running the Diabetes Protect to Win Contest just for them!
From July 1 to December 31, 2025, Clients who apply* for life or critical illness insurance (CII), and disclose they have diabetes, will be eligible to enter 1 of 6 monthly draws to win $5,000. Sun Life will donate $5,000 to a charity supporting people living with diabetes for each draw!
*To qualify, applicants must get to a decision point (approved, declined, postponed) and submit a completed consent form to is.enablement@sunlife.com.

Clients have a chance to win $5,000 through 1 of 6 monthly draws by applying for life or critical illness insurance and disclosing they have diabetes. Draws will occur monthly from September 30, 2025, to January 30, 2026, with a final draw on June 30, 2026.
Clients can be eligible for multiple draws if they submit multiple applications with decisions on different dates.
For each Client draw, Sun Life will donate $5,000 to a charity supporting people living with diabetes, showing our commitment to the cause.
Clients don't need to buy a policy to be eligible for the draw. They simply must complete the application process to a decision point (approved, declined or postponed) and disclose that they have diabetes.

To give Clients an easy way to apply for coverage and enter the contest, only applications submitted via electronic applications are eligible to win.
This offer applies to anyone who applies for any life or critical illness insurance (CII) product and discloses that they have diabetes.
Tip! Clients living with diabetes have a better chance of being offered coverage if they apply for Evolve Term or Sun Perm. Consult with underwriting guidelines when presenting options to Clients.
