Veronika Popova

Veronika Popova leads the Portfolio Consulting team at Vanguard Investments Canada where she helps advisors make the best of their investment proposition by providing in depth, bespoke portfolio analysis and consultation. Veronika has held numerous positions across several Canadian asset management firms, including Vanguard. Prior to her role, Veronika was Director of ETF Strategy at CI Global Asset Management where she provided advisors with expertise and insights on asset allocation, portfolio construction, product recommendation, and model analysis. Prior to that, she was on the ETF Capital Markets team at Vanguard where she managed the primary and secondary market operations of our ETF lineup, ensuring sufficient volume and attractive bid/ask spreads for investors, in addition to acting as a subject matter expert on all things ETF.

Veronika holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Toronto Metropolitan (formerly Ryerson) University and is also a CFA charter holder.

The last 15 years have been spent in various product management and marketing roles, which have developed her ability to understand her audience and to provide tools and supports to advisors to make their jobs easier. A graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University and currently pursuing her CFP designation, Catherine continually strives to improve herself and sharpen her skills. Catherine is responsible for all of the individual life insurance plans on the Sun Life product shelf.
