Announcing our new VP, Distribution Partnerships
A message from Stéphane Vigneault, VP, Insurance Distribution, and Daniele Farinaccia, SVP, Distribution & Channel Management.
We’re pleased to share that Anne Topping will be joining Sun Life as Vice-President, Distribution Partnerships, Retail Advice & Solutions (RA&S), effective October 6. In this role, Anne will report to Stéphane Vigneault, Vice-President, Insurance Distribution, with a dotted reporting line to Daniele Farinaccia, Senior Vice-President, Distribution & Channel Management.
With over 30 years of experience in the insurance and financial industry, Anne has held progressively senior roles in advanced sales, marketing support and advisory services. She joins us from PPI, where she most recently served as Senior Vice-President, Advisory.
Anne led a team that provided advanced sales and technical case development for the high net-worth market. Her responsibilities included overseeing sales in the high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth space, developing sales strategies and marketing programs and fostering relationships with top advisors across Canada.
In her new role, Anne will oversee and nurture partnerships with distribution firms, develop innovative, programmatic approaches to drive sales growth and manage marketing allowance plans for partner firms. She'll also harmonize efforts across various internal stakeholders, advocating for product development to support our strategy and collaborating with RA&S leadership to implement strategic changes across all distribution channels.
Anne's expertise in the high-net-worth market, combined with her actuarial background, deep understanding of life insurance products and commitment to supporting advisors and Clients, positions her well to drive our distribution partnerships forward and continue to innovate our business.

Anne holds a Bachelor of Science with a Specialist in Actuarial Science from the University of Toronto. Outside of work, Anne can be found running or cycling around High Park and enjoys spending time with her family at the cottage.
