Correction to some fund values on select UL products no longer sold 

We’ve become aware of a crediting issue on five funds in six of our UL products no longer sold and are making the correction. There’s no action required from you or Clients.  

What happened? 

On five funds in six of our UL products no longer sold, some policies weren’t credited the correct amount of interest for a period of time.  

What are we doing about it? 

We’ve recently started to restore the fund values for Clients with these funds and policies who were temporarily impacted. After the correction, the Client’s policy statement will show the correct values. As corrections are made, we’re mailing letters to all impacted Clients for their awareness only. 

Next steps 

  • There’s no impact to new business.
  • Be aware of this issue in case you receive questions from Clients regarding their mailing.
