MGA year-end: Take note of these key dates

• November 28: The last day to submit conversion applications for guaranteed review (this excludes original age conversions).
• December 11: The last day to courier settlement documents to guarantee 2025 commission payout.
• December 12: by 4 p.m. ET: The last day for Sun Life to receive settlement documents (including cheques), to count the cases toward 2025 commissions.
• December 16: Sun Life’s settlement close date for 2025 commissions.

Commission payout will happen before the end of the year, based on the applicable remuneration schedule.

Settling policies from December 17-23

If we settle a policy between December 17-23, it’s possible that it will count toward your 2025 commissions. There are many factors that will determine when the commission will be paid out during this time (e.g. product type, stat holiday availability, etc.).

To guarantee 2025 commissions, please follow the schedule we’ve outlined above.
