The National Accounts year-end is coming up fast! It’s important to be aware of these key deadlines for delivery requirements and settling policies. Knowing these dates will ensure the cases are part of advisors’ 2024 commissions.
- October 4, 2024: The last day to submit conversion applications.
- October 18, 2024, by 4 p.m. ET: The last day that we can receive all settling documents.
- October 22, 2024: The final settle date that we can put a policy inforce that will count for bank firm year-end 2024 commissions.
- October 24/25, 2024: Last commissions paid before October 31 bank firm year-end.
Settling policies from October 23-29
If we settle a policy between October 23 and 29, there’s no guarantee that it will count toward advisors’ 2024 commissions. We recommend settling all policies on or prior to October 22 to guarantee payment. There are many factors that will determine when the commission will be paid out during this time (e.g. firm/advisor bank selection, product type etc.). If advisors want to guarantee 2024 commission, they should follow the schedule we’ve outlined above.
