New email alerts on mysunlife.ca and my Sun Life mobile app

Starting July 2, Clients who currently receive paper Universal Life and all other Life insurance statements will also be notified via email when their statements become available online at mysunlife.ca and the my Sun Life mobile app. These Clients will still receive paper statements by mail if they haven’t opted to go paperless.

  • Universal Life Statements (for Sun Life Universal Life and Clarica Universal Life products in Ingenium accounts): Sent annually on Client’s policy anniversary date
  • Other Life insurance Statements: Sent annually on Client’s policy anniversary date 

Digital statements provide Clients access to statements anytime anywhere in our secure Document Centre on mysunlife.ca and the my Sun Life mobile app. This enhancement aims to improve Client’s digital experiences and aligns us with industry standards for document notification.

Calls-to-action:

  • Answer any questions Clients may have about this email and direct them to sign into mysunlife.ca or my Sun Life mobile app to view their documents.
    • If the Client is not registered, click on Register to view to create an account on the registration page on mysunlife.ca
    • If the Client is registered, click on Sign in to view to the sign in page on mysunlife.ca
      • After successfully signing into mysunlife.ca, click on Profile at the top-right corner
      • Click Documents to view, download and print the selected documents
  • Promote digital registration, sign in and going paperless to Clients on mysunlife.ca or my Sun Life mobile app.
