Sun CII maximum issue limit increased to $4 million
Starting October 6, Sun Life is announcing an increase to the maximum issue limit for Sun Critical Illness Insurance (CII), from $3 million to $4 million.
Highest maximum CII face amount in the industry
This increase provides high-net-worth individuals and business owners enhanced financial security for their unique needs. With up to $4 million in critical illness insurance protection, Clients have more options to help safeguard their finances and lifestyles.
Illustrations and applications
- For cases up to $3 million: Illustrate in Sun Life Illustrations and apply using Sun eApp.
- For cases over $3 million up to $4 million: Speak to your Sun Life Relationship Manager or email salesdesk@sunlife.com to request a special quote.
Note: $4 million is the maximum face amount per insured person across all carriers. With the increase of the maximum issue limit to $4 million for Sun CII and total line across all carriers, there will be updates to the age/amount requirements chart and financial underwriting guidelines. Third party verification will be required for amounts greater than $3 million. You will be able to find the updates in the weeks to follow at the links below.
