Join Humberto as he delivers an in-depth presentation on life and critical illness insurance claims. He will highlight the positive aspects of our company by showcasing our mortality, morbidity, and paid benefits statistics. To provide concrete illustrations of these issues, Humberto will draw upon real-life case studies in underwriting and claims, enabling the audience to gain a better understanding of the challenges and processes associated with these crucial areas of insurance world. He will also provide insights on how Sun is using automation to expedite claim payments and how you too can use this to simplify the process for your clients.

Humberto earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of McGill, speaks four languages and brings with him over 15 years in the insurance industry.

He began his underwriting career at Empire Life before moving to Manulife and most recently spending the last two and half years at one of Canada’s reinsurers.

You will also gain an understanding of how to answer Clients questions on underwriting and some of the rules and principles surrounding group benefits.

Jeff Forman is an experienced Group Benefits Account Executive at Sun Life, based in Vancouver. 

With a decade of industry experience, including a background in financial group underwriting, Jeff has been a valuable member of the Sun Life team since 2015. 

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Victoria and an MBA from the University of Calgary, combining strong academic credentials with practical expertise in the group benefits sector.
