Universal Life insurance can be a great tool for serving a wide variety of client needs. This deep dive will review how Universal Life insurance works, explain what makes it an advantageous solution, and provide insights on a number of strategies that shine with UL.

Catherine Malone

With over 25 years’ experience in the industry, Catherine brings a variety of skills and in-depth product knowledge to her role as Director Life Insurance Product Management with Sun Life Financial. The last 15 years have been spent in various product management and marketing roles, which have developed her ability to understand her audience and to provide tools and supports to advisors to make their jobs easier. A graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University and currently pursuing her CFP designation, Catherine continually strives to improve herself and sharpen her skills. Catherine is responsible for all of the individual life insurance plans on the Sun Life product shelf.

Jasmin Bergeron, Ph.D. is a veteran of 2000 keynote presentations and workshops in 12 countries around the world! Jasmin received the “Certified Speaking Professional” designation, which is the highest international designation that can be earned in the professional speaker industry worldwide. Jasmin is also a full professor at the Business School of the University of Quebec in Montreal. He also authored or co-authored of five books, 40 scientific research papers and over 100 newspaper articles in journals such as The Wall Street Journal.
